Staying at Hotel Christiania in Zermatt was an absolute delight! The breathtaking views of the Matterhorn from our room made our stay incredibly special. The spacious rooms were nicely appointed, though the toiletries could use a refresh. The spa and pool were perfect for relaxing after our hikes, and we truly enjoyed the delicious meals we had at the restaurant. However, I did wish there were tea-making facilities in the room since that would have added to the comfort, especially for those long days. Overall, it's a charming family-run hotel that I would happily recommend.
I had an excellent ski vacation in Zermatt, staying at a well-appointed hotel near the Sunnegga funicular. The breathtaking views of the Matterhorn from my room added a special touch to the experience. While the half-board dining was delicious, I felt the breakfast could have offered more variety. The well-maintained spa facilities were a highlight and provided great relaxation after a day on the slopes. Despite the several positives, accessing the slopes requires a short walk and it's not exactly ski-in/ski-out, which might not suit everyone.
